What is a mole?

A common mole, or naevi, is a coloured spot on the skin that when pigment cells called grow in clusters. common moles may be present at birth, they appear later in childhood and during years – most adults usually have between 10 and 40 on their body. During pregnancy, moles often get darker and they can fade away completely from around the age of 50.

How to best look after your moles

Sun exposure is the main cause of skin cancers, so your skin from the sun is for skin health. advise to avoid direct sun exposure between 11am and 3pm on sunny days, and to wear protective clothing in addition to using regularly.
